Water seepage near an electrical switch
Water near a switch is urgent. Keep away, switch off power if safe, and get both leak and electrical safety checked.
Safety note

What you can check safely
- Do not touch the wet switch.
- Switch off the relevant MCB only if you can do it safely from a dry place.
- Keep people away from the wall.
- Stop nearby water supply if a pipe leak is suspected.
- Call for help and share photos from a safe distance.
What not to do
- Do not use a hair dryer on the switch.
- Do not tape over the wet area.
- Do not turn the switch on to test it.
